Carol Medeiros, 45, of Tiverton, RI, died Saturday at home after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, MA, a daughter of Janet A. (Polycarpo) Medeiros of Tiverton and the late Antonio Medeiros. She was a graduate of Tiverton High School, class of 1984. Carol had worked as a sales associate at Stop & Shop.

She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed going on long rides.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a sister, Maryann Medeiros of Tiverton, RI and several aunts and uncles; and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
