Maria Hernandez Cruz, 56, of Fall River, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, in Boston.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of Hector Hernandez and Emelia Cruz.

Before retiring, Maria had worked for several years as a housing coordinator.

She is survived by her son Alexander Omar Ortiz, of Fall River.

Her funeral services will be private.
