Agueda "Agnes" (Graca) Neves

FALL RIVER - Agueda "Agnes" (Graca) Neves, passed away in her 94th year, on Friday, July 7th. She was the wife of the late Manuel Joaquim Neves.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Jose and Zulmira (Baptista) Graca; she was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Mrs. Neves worked for many years as a machine operator at the former River Falls Mfg. She was a parishioner of Holy Name Church.
She leaves two daughters, Zulmira J. "Mira" Graca of Fall River and Maria Graca (Neves) LaCroix and her husband Alan of Fall River; a grandson, Christopher Alan LaCroix; and a niece and nephew. She was the mother of the late Hernane Antonio Neves and the sister of the late Rosalina Graca.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 12th at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Name Church, Hanover Street, Fall River. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Robeson Street, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday 6-8 p.m.
