Alice Medeiros

Alice Medeiros, 96, of Bay St., Fall River, a retired garment worker, died Friday at Southpointe Rehab. and Skilled Care Center.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Alice (Alves) Medeiros; she was a lifelong resident of this city and a former member of the former Our Lady of Angel's Church, now Good Shepherd Parish. She was a former member of the No. Tiverton Senior Citizens. Ms. Medeiros worked for many years as a sewing machine operator in the local garment industry, retiring in 1981.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gabriel Medeiros, Gil F. Medeiros, Joseph Medeiros, Jr., Fernanda Medeiros and Urania Medeiros.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation morning of funeral from 8:30-9-30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of choice.
