Alice (Costa) Moniz

FALL RIVER…Alice (Costa) Moniz, 95 of Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, passed away June 22nd at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center.
She was wife of the late Manuel Moniz.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Mariano and Emilia (Amaral) da Costa.
Survivors include her daughter: Emily Joyce Lajeunesse and her husband Eugene of Naples, FL, her sister: Hilda Silvia of FL, 2 granddaughters: Lisa Lajeunesse of CA and Deborah Lajeunesse of CO, and a great-granddaughter: Paige Lajeunesse. She was sister of the late Mary Moniz, Genevieve, Manuel Costa, Gina Nobrega, Evelyn Coelho, Edward Costa and Toni Ferreira.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 9 AM at the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., Fall River with a service starting at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
