Almerina "Alma" Isadore

Almerina "Alma" (Medeiros) Isadore, 88, of Fall River, died Friday at the Coleman House in Northboro. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Isadore.

Born in Tiverton, RI, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Rodrigues) Medeiros; she lived most of her life in Tiverton and was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church. Mrs. Isadore worked as a seamstress for 27 years at the former Kim & Jim Mfg., retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in Tiverton.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy A. Snyder (Husband Douglas) of Shrewsbury, MA; a son, Dennis J. Isadore of Providence, RI; two brothers, Manuel Medeiros of Warren, RI and Dennis Medeiros of Dartmouth, MA; three grandchildren, Jeremy Snyder, Nicole Iaricci and Matthew Isadore; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Levitre, Jules Medeiros, Joseph Medeiros, Angelina Matthews and John Medeiros.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
