Almerinda Viveiros

Almerinda (Cambra) Viveiros, 96, of Tiverton, passed away on March 14, 2026.

    She was the beloved wife of the late William Viveiros.

    Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Cambra and the late Anne (Tavares) Cambra.

    During her working years, Almerinda was employed in the local garment industry, dedicating much of her career as a sewing machine operator at Chase Curtain. Outside of her professional life, she enjoyed the quiet comforts of home and was known to be an avid reader, always finding joy in a good book.

    She was predeceased by her two children, William Viveiros and Ginger Viveiros. She was also the sister of the late Manuel Cambra, Joseph Cambra, Edward Camara, and the late Evelyn Fernandes. She is survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

    Her visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, from 8 - 9:30 AM, at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., in Fall River, Massachusetts, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, at 10 AM. Interment in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
