Angelina “Angie” (Perry) Freitas

FALL RIVER - Angelina "Angie" (Perry) Freitas, 93 of Fall River passed away Sunday, July, 16, 2017, at Southpointe Rehabilitation Center.
She was the widow of Thomas Farias and Thomas Freitas. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Silvia) Perry and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
Angie started her career as a seamstress. She worked her way up to a linen supervisor at the Newport Naval Hospital for more than 20 years and retired in 1992.
Angelina loved attending the Swansea Senior center, where she had many years of friendship and fun.
She is survived by her two daughters, Madeline Martin of Fall River and Sheila Almeida of Westport. The late David Martin was her beloved son in law. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Thomas, Lynette, Erik and Kristen. She was exponentially blessed with 5 great grandchildren, Nathan, Dylan, Zachary, Shyann and Quinn. She was the sister of the late Zelda Rapoza, Lorraine Souza, Mary Palheiro, John, Alfred, and George "Sonny" Perry.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 8:00AM at the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Santo Christo Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery Fall River. Calling hours will be prior to Mass
