Antero A. Botelho

Antero A. "Ted" Botelho, 51, of Fall River, died Thursday, August 18th at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, a son of Maria L. (Medeiros) Botelho of Fall River and the late Jose R. Botelho; he lived most of his life in Fall River and was a member of Santo Christo Church.
He enjoyed family gatherings and holidays; his favorite being Halloween. Ted loved Rock ‘n' Roll' especially Boston and The Cars. His favorite sports were hockey and baseball. He enjoyed watching movies, dressing up for different occasions, cigarettes and Coca-Cola.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Isabel Botelho of Fall River and Sandra M. Pinto and her husband Antone of Fall River; three brothers, Jose R. Botelho and his wife Penny of Fall River, John Botelho and his wife Lorena of Dartmouth, MA and Duarte Botelho of Fall River; aunts and uncles; cousins; and several nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed by his family, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 23rd at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Monday 4-8 p.m.
