Antonino C. Furtado

Antonino C. Furtado, 62, of Warren St., Fall River, a former textile worker, died Saturday at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Gilberta R. (da Silva) Furtado. Born in Feteiras do Sul, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Maria Rita Furtado; he came to this country in 2000. Mr. Furtado formerly worked as a weaver at the former Quaker Fabric.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Claudia Furtado and Joana Furtado, both of St. Michael, Azores.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday 5-9 p.m.
