Antonio F. Botelho, 62, of Fall River, died Friday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Maria Natalia (Costa) Botelho.
Born in Santa Barbara, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Antonio and Salvina (Cabral) Botelho; he lived in Fall River since 1984 and was a member of Santo Christo Church. Mr. Botelho worked for over 20 years in the fish department at Chaves Market. He was a member of the Santo Christo Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Micaela Botelho (fiance Eusebio) of Fall River; a son, Rui Botelho of Fall River; five sisters, Maria DeMello and Eduarda Botelho, both of Fall River, Lucia Sousa and Dina Ferreira, both of Canada and Salvina Freitas of St. Michael, Azores; two brothers, Jose Botelho and Eduardo Botelho, both of Fall River; two grandchildren, Donovan Gonzaga and Nathan Gonzaga; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation morning of funeral from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
