Antonio E. Crancha

Antonio E. Crancha, 58, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, May 25th at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, surrounded by his family.

    Born in Ponta Garça, Saint Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Leonel C. Crancha and the late Maria L. (Roias) Crancha.

    Most recently, Antonio was employed as a roofer, throughout his career he also worked as a carpenter and in the landscaping industry. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and found great joy in fishing, taking every opportunity he could to enjoy this beloved pastime.

    He is survived by his children Rebecca Crancha and Bryan Crancha; his siblings Helena M. Galego, Leonor C. Carreiro, Teresa J. Crancha, Joao E. Crancha, Leonel R. Crancha, and Peter Crancha; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 8 - 9:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River.

    His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
