Antonio R. Cruz

Antonio R. Cruz, 91, of Fall River, died Saturday at home. He was the husband of the late Olivia (Almeida) Cruz.

Born in Providence, RI, a son of the late Jose and Maria Filomena (Roderiques) da Cruz, he resided in Fall River for most of his life.

Mr. Cruz had worked as a machine operator in the local textile industry.

He is survived by a son, Filip Cruz of Fall River, MA and two sisters, Maria Tomas of Cumberland, RI and Luciana Conceicao Cruz of Fall River, MA, several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia St. followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in Third Baptist Church 260 Stafford Road. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 5 to 7 p.m.
