Arthur Gonsalves

Arthur Gonsalves, 88, of Tiverton, RI passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital New Bedford.

He was the husband of Mary (Souza) Gonsalves of Tiverton. He was born in Fall River a son of the late Manuel and Gloria (Rodrigues) Gonsalves and had lived in Tiverton most of his life.

Mr. Gonsalves was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, RI.

Mr. Gonsalves was employed as a boat builder with the former Pierson Yacht and the former Sunfish.

Arthur enjoyed yardwork and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, a sister-in-law Sara Souza of Tiverton, a niece Cynthia Mello and her husband Bill of CT.
