Arthur Silvia, Jr.

Arthur Silvia, Jr., 80, passed away on September 28, 2026, at Catholic Memorial Home, by the side of his sons.

    Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Arthur Silvia, Sr. and the late Hilda (Alburquerque) Silvia.

    Arthur spent his career as the owner and operator of Silvia's Florist Shop & Gifts, dedicating 48 years to the business. He is survived by his two sons, Robert S. Silvia and Brian J. Silvia, owner of Brian’s Car Care. He also leaves behind his brother, Stephen Silvia and his wife Carol, of Austin, Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, the late Gregory J. Silvia.

    By Arthur’s request, private services have been entrusted to the care of the Oliveira Funeral Homes. If sending flowers, Arthur requested Ray’s Flower Shop, Red Velvet Florist, or Rapoza’s Florist & Greenhouse be used.
