Bellma "Billie" Ferreira

Bellma "Billie" (Mello) Ferreira, 93, of Tiverton, RI, formerly of Fall River, died Tuesday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph "Za Za" Ferreira.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Albertina (Perreira) Mello; she lived most of her life in Fall River and was a member of the former Our Lady of Angels Parish. Mrs. Ferreira worked for many years as a saleswoman at the former Anderson- Little.
She is survived by a daughter, Andrea H. Pimenta and her husband Gary F. of Tiverton, RI; a son-in-law, Louis Mello of Somerset; and a granddaughter, Lynn M. Mello of Smithfield, RI. She was the mother of the late Patricia A. Mello and the grandmother of the late Dr. Christopher J. Mello.
Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, Aug. 12th at 10 a.m. In the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Committal prayers and entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation morning of funeral from 8:30-9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
