Carl Mello

PROVIDENCE - Carl Mello, 53, of Mt. Hope Ave., Fall River, died Sunday, Nov. 5th unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the fiancé of Jennifer L. Perry.
Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Armanda (Medeiros) Mello of Fall River and the late Fernando L. Mello; he was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Carl was employed for the past 3 ½ years as a support manager at Wal-Mart in Raynham. He previously was employed by Allied Waste as an auditor and truck driver and by the former Globe Manufacturing as a maintenance man.
Besides his mother and fiancé, he is survived by a daughter, Amanda Lee Mello of Fall River; a sister, Doris Mello Oliveira of Fall River; a brother, Frank Mello of Fall River; and a step-son, Donovan Ponte of Fall River.
His Funeral will be held Saturday, November 11th at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish, South Main Street, Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road, Fall River. Calling hours Friday 5-8 p.m.
