Carlos Marques

Carlos Marques, 80, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Virginia (Marques) Carvalho.

Carlos was a very kind and humble man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Natalie Patricio, of Fall River, Rita Lacombe, of Westport, Paul Carvalho, of New Jersey, Michael Carvalho and Elizabeth Gomes, both of New Bedford; several great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio Carvalho, Rita Arruda, and Priscilla Correia. He was also the uncle of the late Antonio, Daniel, John, and Richard Carvalho.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carlos’s name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

His funeral service and burial will be private.
