Christine Viveiros

Christine (Ferreira) Viveiros, 93, of Quequechan St., Fall River, a retired assembler, died Friday. She was the wife of the late Jesse P. Viveiros.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Antone and Maria (Barreite) Ferreira; she spent her earlier years in Tiverton, moving to Fall River at the age of 17. Mrs. Viveiros worked for many years as an assembler at the former Aluminum Processing, retiring in 1982.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Viveiros Forsee (husband Carl W. Forsee) of Fall River; four sisters, Lillian Copsetta of Fall River, Elizabeth Kozak (husband Walter) of Tiverton, Patricia Chasse (husband Paul) of Fall River and Linda Paquette (husband Gerald) of Fall River; a granddaughter, Wendy Forsee Kingman (husband Brian K. Kingman); a grandson, Matthew C. Forsee (wife Paula Forsee); four great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Elizabeth Kingman, Allyson Paige Kingman, Cheyenna Forsee and Jesse Forsee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Alfred Ferreira and a sister Mary R. Tavares.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Chapel, Pulaski St. Committal prayers and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
