Christopher Wood

Christopher Allen Wood, Jr., age 34, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away June 3rd, 2026.

    Christopher was born in Providence, Rhode Island on April 6, 1992. He was the beloved son of Linda C. (Verrette) DaSilva and the late Christopher Allen Wood Sr.

    He spent his career working in construction. Outside of work, Christopher was an avid outdoorsman who truly loved fishing, with a special passion for crabbing, and always looked forward to being out on the water.

    He is survived by his son, Gabriel Wood; his mother, Linda DaSilva, and step-father, Helio DaSilva; and his four sisters, Jessica Wood, Samantha DaSilva, Cindy DaSilva, and Danielle DaSilva. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Bernadette Dwyer, and was preceded in death by his grandparents Ulric and Pauline Verrette. He is additionally survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

    His visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., in Fall River.
