FALL RIVER... Claudio A. Ferreira, 87, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.
Claudio was born in St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Francisco Pacheco Ferreira and Maria da Estrela Araujo.
Mr. Ferreira was self-employed as a Stone Mason and was a member of the Banda Nossa Senhora Dos Anjos, in New Bedford.
He is survived by his longtime companion: Maria Pavao, of Fall River; his children: Delilah Ferreira and Lisa Ferreira, both of New Bedford; his brother Jose Ferreira, of Canada; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by several siblings.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 8:00 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Santo Christo Parish, Columbia St, Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
