David M. Pereira

David M. Pereira, age 51, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

    Born in Fall River, he was the beloved son of Humberto Pereira and Judith (Faggioli) Pereira.

    David loved fiercely, especially his mother. He stood by the people he cared about, defended them, and poured himself into their well-being. He believed deeply in forgiveness and lived it everyday with a sincerity that only comes from someone who knows pain, but still chooses love. He had a fondness for computers and enjoyed time spent with his family and his pets. A man of devout faith, he was a member of Holy Trinity Church and found great comfort in watching EWTN regularly.

    Along with his parents, he is survived by his aunt, Zelia Rego and her husband Joe. His uncles, Danny and his wife Ann, Mike and his wife Nancy, John and his wife Pat, and Richie (predeceased) He also leaves behind his many cousins, who loved him very much.

    The family would like to express their sincere thanks to David’s caregivers, Sherry, Mandy and Kendra. Your patience, kindness, and compassion will never be forgotten. Most importantly, because of you, he was able to go home and spend his last days with his mother, Judy- the love of his life. Thank you so much.

    His visitation will be held Monday, December 1st, from 8 - 9:30 AM at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Stafford Rd, Fall River. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
