David Rankin

David Manuel Rankin, age 67, a resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on August 6, 2026.

    He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. He was the beloved son of Ann D. (Medeiros) Rankin and the late Raymond D. Rankin.

    David proudly served his country as a veteran in the United States Army. He was an avid Red Sox fan and an active individual with a lifelong appreciation for athletics; he played baseball when he was younger and most people who knew him would say he was a great ball player. He also loved to run, dedicating much of his time as a runner.

    He is survived by his sisters and brother, Donna M. Forwood, Raymond D. Rankin Jr., and Anne Marie Gastonguay. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, the late John P. Rankin.

    Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14th at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2233 Robeson St., Fall River, MA 02720.
