David Souza

David Souza, 51, of Fall River, died Thursday Sept. 1, 2011.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Laura (Cabral) Souza; he was a lifelong resident of this city. He served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He was an avid sportsman and member of the Fall River Rod & Gun Club.

He is survived by a sister, Karen M. Souza-Laquerre (Fiancee Bill Leahy) of Warren, RI; a brother, Donald P. Souza (Wife Nancy) of Fall River; a niece, Samantha Laquerre; and a nephew, Donald P. Souza, Jr. He was the beloved companion of Cidalia Ballard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday at 9 a.m. in the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5 - 9 p.m.
