Delia "Hilda" Martin

Delia (Botelho) Martin, better known as Hilda, 88, of Moorland St., Fall River, passed away Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Martin.

Born in Fall River, MA; a daughter of the late John A. and Irene (Medeiros) Botelho; she was a lifelong resident of this city and a member of Good Shepherd Parish. Mrs. Martin worked as a supervisor at the former Bristol Knitting Mills.

She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Martin Bozzo of Fall River and Joanne M. Plozai (fiance James Terceiro) of Fall River; three grandchildren, Victoria Plozai, Martin Rego and Joseph Plozai; a great-grandson, Jacob Brightman; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her pet sidekick Keno. She was the mother-in-law of the late Lawrence Bozzo.

Private funeral arrangements were by the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery.
