Dennis R. Morgan

Dennis R. Morgan, 73, of Swansea, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

    He was the loving husband of Donna (Banville) Morgan.

    Born in Fall River on May 26, 1952, Dennis was a son of the late Elmon Morgan and Georgina (Amaral) Morgan.

    Dennis worked as a skilled machinist throughout his career, dedicating himself to his craft with precision and pride. He spent over 40 years in the industry, earning the respect of his colleagues for his meticulous work and strong work ethic.

    Outside of work, Dennis had a deep love for boating and travel, often navigating to Block Island for the weekend or exploring the waters around Narragansett Bay. He was endlessly handy around the house and workshop—there was nothing he wouldn’t try to build or fix. No matter the project, Dennis tackled it all with creativity and care.

    He was also a dedicated and doting grandfather to Lachlan Cyr, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

    He is survived by his devoted wife Donna; his stepson Tyler Cyr and his wife Stephanie of Lakeville; and his grandson Lachlan, who meant the world to him. He also leaves behind his brother James Morgan of Fall River and several nieces and nephews.
