Dennis P. Moniz

FALL RIVER.…Dennis P. Moniz, 66, of Buckley St., Fall River, died Thursday, May 26th at Charlton Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was the husband of Cynthia M. (Almas) Moniz.
Born in Fall River, MA, a son of Alice (Ferreira) Medeiros of Fall River and the late John B. Moniz; he was a lifelong resident of this city. Mr. Moniz worked at Arrow Sign Co. for many years.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Bussiere and her husband Adrian of Fall River; a son, Kenneth P. Michael, Jr. of Fall River; three brothers, Richard Moniz of Somerset, Frank Moniz of Swansea and Alfred Gagne of Fall River; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Michael, Keith Michael, Dennis Bussiere, Dante Bussiere, Dominic Bussiere, Casandra Michael and Kenneth Michael, III; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John B. Moniz, Joseph Moniz, Arthur Moniz and Sandra Fontaine.
His Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in Evangelical Church, Rodman St. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 4-7 p.m.
