Dennis "Rocky" Pimentel

FALL RIVER… Dennis "Rocky" Pimentel, 91, of Fall River passed away November 9, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
He was the husband of Rose Marie (Farias) Pimentel.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Francisco and Virginia (Costa) Pimentel and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Pimentel was a communicant of Santo Christo Church where he was a collector at the 6 PM Mass until he became ill. He was employed for many years as a Lab Technician at Ciba-Geigy in Cranston, RI. He was a member of Club 35 and was his grandchildren's biggest sports fan.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children; Kathleen Botelho and her husband Scott of Somerset, Dennis Pimentel and his wife Paula of Fall River, Michael Pimentel and his wife Sarita of Tiverton and James Pimentel, 6 grandchildren; Erica-Beth, Thomas, Erin, Michael Paul, Emma and Catherine, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Maria "Sarah" Mello and Laura Pimentel.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 8 AM from Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. Fall River. Interment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5-8 PM.
