Dinis Viveiros

Dinis Viveiros, 71, of William St., Fall River, a retired textile worker, died Wednesday, August 24th at home. He was the husband of Maria Fatima (Oliveira) Viveiros.
Born in Sao Antonio alem Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose Viveiros Homem and Maria Jose Viveiros; he emigrated to this country in 1969 and was a member of Santo Christo Church. Before retiring, Mr. Viveiros worked as a machine operator for many years at Duro Textiles in Fall River.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sandra Oliveira of Fall River and Michelle Viveiros-Larkin and her husband J. Kevin of Clinton, MA; a son, Corey Dennis Viveiros and his girlfriend Melody Wright of Fall River; two sisters, Madelena Rego and Imaculada Machado, both of Canada; three grandchildren, Ashley Oliveira, Jaden Coleman and J. Owen Larkin; a great-grandson, Jaice Jon Oliveira; and several nieces and nephews. He was the son-in-law of the late Joao and Maria Isabel Oliveira. He was the grandfather of the late Ethan Joseph Larkin and the brother of the late Maria Conceicao Faria, Antonio Viveiros Homem, Ilda Botelho, Eduarda Rocha, Joao Viveiros Homem, Gloria Aguiar and Jose Viveiros Homem.
His funeral will be held Saturday, August 27th at 7 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 8 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Friday 5-8 p.m.
