Donna Ann Benoit, 67, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on May 19, 2026.
She was the wife of Ronald Benoit.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Deus and Irene (Boyer) Alfonso.
Donna attended Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA and graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 1976. Donna built a career in the property management industry, where she worked hard until her well-deserved retirement in 2019. She enjoyed the wilderness and time outside, especially camping in New Hampshire with her children. Donna loved the holidays, especially Christmas, and enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving dinner for family for many years. She loved going out for dinner - Portuguese food and shrimp scampi were some of her favorite dishes. Donna was a die hard Neil Diamond fan, and loved country music. She enjoyed being creative and getting out for craft nights with her sister. Her favorite flowers were daisies. She loved the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, she is survived by her son David Estrella of East Wareham and his wife Heather Estrella. She is also survived by her niece who was like a daughter to her, Alyshia Keenan of Mansfield, her husband Jeff Keenan, and their children Everett and Emmalene; stepdaughter Jennifer Leupold and her husband Jamie Leupold of Wakefield, MA, and stepsons Derek Benoit and Jeff Benoit. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis Oliveira of Fall River (late partner Brian Taylor of New Bedford), sister Cindy Burgess of Indiana, and half brother Kevin Deus. She is predeceased by her brother Kenneth Deus and his late wife Nancy, her father Manuel Deus, her mother Irene Alfonso and her late husband Eddie Alfonso. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held Friday, 5, 2026, from 9 - 10 AM at the Oliveira Funeral Homes - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by service at 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
