Dora M. Martinho

FALL RIVER - Dora M. (Vasconcelos) Martinho, 77, of New Jersey Ave., Somerset, MA, died Sunday, March 19th at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Antonio V. Martinho.
Born in Povoacao, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Camilo D. and Noemia (Medeiros) Vasconcelos; she lived in Somerset since 1968. Mrs. Martinho was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress for several years at the former Shelburne Shirt Mfg.
She is survived by two sons, Michael A. Martinho and his wife Kristen of N. Dartmouth, MA and Paul D. Martinho of Fall River; a brother, Fernand Vasconcelos of Washington State; three grandchildren, Allyson, Caiden and Casey; and two nephews, David Vasconcelos and Daniel Vasconcelos.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, March 23rd at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Robeson Street, Fall River. Calling hours Wednesday 6-8 p.m.
