Doris A. (Alves) Carpenter

Doris A. (Alves) Carpenter, 78, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.

She was the loving wife of Antone Carpenter.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Alves and Anna (Rego) Alves.

Doris was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family deeply. She enjoyed playing games, especially card games. She was also a member of the Fall River Church of Christ.

Along with her husband, Doris is survived by her children: Kimberly Roussin (husband Oliva), of Tiverton, Karen Botelho (husband Steve) and William Carpenter, both of Fall River; her grandchildren: Rebekah, Jared, Lexie, Leiha, and Adam; her brother Gerald Alves; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Edward, Alfred, Francis, and Elaine.

A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date.
