Dorothy Reney

Dorothy (Boulay) Reney, 92, of Swansea, died on May 10, 2026. She was the wife of the late Wilbur P. Reney, to whom she was married for 65 years.

    Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Omer Boulay and Mathilda (Viens) Boulay. She had lived in Swansea since 1963.

    She worked at the former U.S. Record and retired as Head Cook at Case Jr. High in 1994. In her free time, Dorothy loved playing bingo at the Somerset Senior Center and spending time with her family.

    She is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Hawes, and a son, Kenneth Reney, both of Swansea. She had four granddaughters, one grandson, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
