Duarte Teves

Duarte M. Teves, 78, of Fall River, passed away April 2, 2024, in St. Michael, Azores.

    He was the loving husband of Ermelinda (Pires) Teves.

    Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Francisco Da Costa and Maria da Conceicao do Rego Coelho.

    Prior to retiring, Duarte worked for a landscaping company for several years. He enjoyed tending to his garden, making homemade wine and spending time with his family.

    Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Rui Teves, Ivete Teves, Claudio Teves, Sonia Pontes, Andreia Resendes, and Vanessa Magalhaes; his sister Luisa Casaca, several half siblings, 11 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

    A visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 8:00 - 9:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
