Eduardo M. Elizardo

Eduarda M. (Frias) Elizardo, 71, of Fall River, a retired machine operator, died Saturday at home. She was the wife of the late Agostinho Elizardo.

Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose Frias Camara and Maria Conceicao Martins; she lived in this country since 1971 and was a member of Santo Christo Church. Mrs. Elizardo worked as a machine operator for many years at Santoro Mfg.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph M. Elizardo (wife Paula) of Fall River and Carlos M. Elizardo (wife Candida) of Fall River; a sister, Conceicao M. Nicolau (husband Gualberto of SC; a brother, Antonio Frias (wife Victoria) of St. Michael, Azores; a sister-in-law Maria dos Anjos of Fall River; two brother-in-laws, Antonio B. Pacheco of Fall River and Manuel Pacheco Elizardo (wife Paulina) of Fall River; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose Manuel Fias.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-9 p.m.
