Eileen Barboza

TIVERTON, RI… Eileen Barboza, 78, of Tiverton, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River, surrounded by her family.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. Barboza and Delia (Oliver) Barboza.

Eileen attended the James L. Maher Center in Middletown, for many years, and was a parishioner of the former St. Madeline’s Church, in Tiverton. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed singing at family birthday parties.

Survivors include her brothers: Richard J. Barboza (wife Marge), of Westport, and Leonard J. Barboza (wife Sheila), of Florida; her sister-in-law and caretaker Joyce Barboza, of Tiverton; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Brenda Medeiros and Robert M. Barboza.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 9 - 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St, Fall River, MA 02724 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 265 Stafford Rd, Tiverton, RI. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
