Emanuel J. Cabral, 65, of Fall River, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

    Born in Furnas, São Miguel, Azores, he was a son of Maria Jose Janeiro and the late Laureano Cabral Vieira.

    Mr. Cabral was retired, having spent his career in construction. He was an avid soccer fan and a devoted supporter of S.L. Benfica, having played for several clubs himself in his youth. At home, he found joy in gardening, caring for his birds, and fishing.

    He is survived by his three sons, David Cabral, Manny Cabral, and Victor Cabral (wife Rachel); two grandchildren; his siblings, Laureano Cabral, Gualberto Cabral, Nelson Cabral, Sidonio Cabral, Edward Vieira, Grace Cabral, and Theresa Cordeiro; his former wife Fernanda M. (Martins) Cabral; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Esmerelda Pereira

    A visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 8 - 9:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River.

    His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
