Fernanda Coelho

FALL RIVER - Fernanda (Pimentel) Coelho, 93, of Fall River, a retired garment worker, died Wednesday, March 1st at Crawford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Edmundo Rego Coelho.
Born in Vila Franca do Campo, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Ernesto and Maria do Carmo (de Melo) Pimentel; she emigrated to this country in 1967. Mrs. Coelho worked as a machine operator for 13 years at the former Arkay Mfg. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Angels Church, now Good Shepherd Parish.
She is survived by a grandson, Victor M. Coelho and his wife Anita of Fall River; a daughter-in-law, Luisa Coelho of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ernest P. Coelho. She was the sister of the late Maria do Rosario Amaral, Nascimento Pimentel, Maria Evangelina Arruda, Alzira de Lima, Manuela Pimentel, Jose de Melo Pimentel, Ernesto de Melo Pimentel and Evaristo de Melo Pimentel.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 4th, at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish, South Main Street. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation morning of funeral from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
