Francelina de Jesus Machado

Francelina de Jesus Machado, 91, of King St., Fall River, a homemaker, died Tuesday at Southpointe Rehab. and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Joao Tavares.

Born in Feteiras do Sul, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao and Francelina Machado; she lived in Fall River for the past 14 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Maria Alves of Fall River; a son, Luis Tavares of St. Michael, Azores; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Valdomira Garcia. Burial will be in the St. Michael, Azores.
