Frances Lilliston

"Granny"

Frances Rodrigues Lilliston, affectionately known as "Granny", 86, of Fall River, MA, passed away June 20, at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, in New Bedford.

 Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Bento and Mary (Pavao) Rodrigues.

 Frances had worked for most of her career as a dietary aide, at both Heritage Assisted Living, in Dartmouth, and the John Boyd Center, in Fall River. She loved children, especially her grandchildren, and always loved taking care of them. Frances also enjoyed her trips to the casino, to play bingo, and entertaining for her friends and family.

 Frances is survived by her children: Debbie Ann Leonardo, of Fall River, Reginald Dupont, Jr. (Joyce), of N. Dartmouth, and Eric M. Dupont (Ana), of Florida; six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband Reginald Dupont, Sr. and her siblings Barbara Souza, Alice (Edward) Telles, Dorothy Dias, Bento Rodrigues, James Rodrigues, Robert (Patricia) Rodrigues, Margaret (John) Silvia and George Rodrigues.

 A visitation will be held Friday, June 28, from 8:00 - 9:30 AM, from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at the Santo Christo Church. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
