Francisco DeAndrade

FALL RIVER… Francisco DeAndrade, 73, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at St. Anne’s Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was the loving husband of Filomena (Coutinho) DeAndrade.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose and Maria Luisa DeAndrade.

Prior to retiring, Francisco worked for most of his career as a machine operator at the former Douro Finishing. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church and a member of Fall River Sports Club. Francisco enjoyed word searches and taking care of his cats, but most of all, he loved the time he spent with his wife and family.

Along with his wife, survivors include his sons: Eric DeAndrade (fiancé Catia Borges) and Nathan DeAndrade (wife Brittany), both of Fall River; his sister Odalia Pina, of Canada; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several siblings.

His funeral will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 9:00 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Stafford Rd., Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. A visitation will be held Friday night, from 5 – 8 PM.
