Francisco A. Vieira

Francisco A. Vieira, 80, of Fall River, formerly of Davis Rd., Westport, died Thursday at home. He was the husband of Isaura M. (Vieira) Viera.

Born in Rabo de Peixe, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose Alves Vieira and Rita Jesus Vieira; he lived in Fall River since 1980 and was a member of the former Our Lady of Health Church. Mr. Vieira worked as a machinist for 16 years at American Dryer Company, retiring in1997.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Maria E. Aguiar (Husband Marcos) of Fall River and Donaria Vieira (Husband Manuel Andrade) of St. Michael, Azores; a son, Jose F. Vieira (Wife Clara) of Fall River; 2 sisters and a brother of St. Michael, Azores; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Espirito Santo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5 - 9 p.m.
