Gregory J. Brewer

Gregory Joseph Brewer, 67, of Assonet, Massachusetts, passed away on May 30, 2026.

    Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Emmit and Olive (Silvia) Brewer.

    He was the beloved husband of Lisa Marie (Golding) Brewer.

    Gregory had a long and dedicated career, serving as the Vice President of Fire Protection at Piping Systems Installations, where he worked since 1997. Prior, he worked as a pipe fitter at Globe Manufacturing for several years. Outside of his professional life, he was a proud member of the Defiant Crew Motorcycle Club who loved the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle. He also was an avid New York Jets fan. Above all else, Gregory was a family man whose greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He treasured every moment spent with them and never missed an opportunity to share his love, wisdom, and sense of humor.

    In addition to his beloved wife Lisa, Gregory leaves behind a family who meant everything to him. He is survived by his children: Gregory Brewer Jr., Jessica Lynn Riley and her husband Jamie, bonus daughters Amanda Leah O’Keeffe and her husband Anthony, and Chelse Lambert and her partner Joshua Bevilacqua; his brother, David Alan Brewer and his wife Helena Brewer along with his nephew, Joshua Brewer. As well as his grandchildren Samantha, Brandon, Madison, Mason, Dylan, Jacob, his bonus grandchildren Chloe, Ronan, Cameron, and Aidan, and great-grandchildren Isabelle and Luke.

    Whether on his Harley, cheering for the Jets, or surrounded by his family, Gregory lived life on his own terms and left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

    His visitation will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11 AM - 2 PM at the Oliveira Funeral Homes - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River. A brief prayer service will be held at 2 PM in the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to join together with his family for a reception in Gregory’s honor at White's of Westport immediately following the services.
