Helen M. Johnson

Helen M. (Miranda) Johnson, 53, of Mulberry St., Fall River, passed away Saturday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Johnson.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of Helen (Sousa) Miranda of Fall River and the late Antone P. Miranda, she was a lifelong resident of this city.

Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Santo Christo Church.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Nicole Leite of Fall River; a son, Francis Sharette, III, of Somerset; siblings, Antone P. Miranda, Jr., of Florida, Anne Sirois of Florida, Thomas Miranda of California and James Miranda of Dartmouth; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 6 - 8 p.m.
