James A. Cavanaugh, 82, of Fall River, passed away January 13, 2024, at home.
He was the widower of the late Patricia (Correira) Cavanaugh.
Born in Fall River, James was the son of the late James J. Cavanaugh and Mildred (Martel) Cavanaugh.
James worked as a driver for SRTA, from 1976 until his retirement. He was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 174 and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son James A. Cavanaugh, Jr., his granddaughter Michaela Ruth Finn, his great grandson Brian Rodrigues, Jr., and his companion Viviana Sylvia.
His burial in Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.
