James "Jimmy" Dunse

FALL RIVER - James J. "Jimmy" Dunse, 52, of Fall River, died Wednesday, March 8th at St. Anne's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Gail A. (Soares) Dunse.
Born in Fall River, MA, a son of Barbara Ann (Pannoni) Dunse of Fall River and the late James R. Dunse; he was a lifelong resident of Fall River. He was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School. He was employed as a project coordinator by Cox Communications. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a huge New England Patriots fan.
Besides his wife of 33 years and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Amanda Lynn Dunse of Fall River; two brothers, Nicholas R. Dunse and Robert W. Dunse, both of Fall River; two grandchildren, Trent Dunse and Xanda Teixeira; a niece, Laura Reed; and two nephews, Robert Dunse, II and Jacob Dooley.
His funeral will be held Thursday, March 16th at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Road, Fall River. Cremation to follow. Calling hours Wednesday 5-9 p.m.
