John S. Mendoza

John S. Mendoza, 46, of Somerset, MA; died Monday at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Fall River, MA; a son of James and Margaret (Silvia) Mendoza, he resided most of his life in Somerset.

He was a graduate of Somerset High School Class of 1984.

Mr. Mendoza was self-employed as a painter for many years. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his companion, Lori Caisse of Somerset, MA; 3 brothers, James Mendoza of Somerset, MA; Richard Mendoza of Fall River, MA and Scott Mendoza (Wife Stephanie) of Somerset, MA; 2 nephews, Ryan Mendoza and Kyle Mendoza, a niece, Kelsie Mendoza, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Monday at 5:45 p.m. in the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia Street. Visitation prior to service 4:00 to 5:45 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
