Jose Sebastiao

Jose Sebastiao, 76, of Mulberry Street, Fall River, passed away, Sunday at home. He was the husband of Maria (Martins) Sebastiao.

Born in Feteiras, St. Michael, Azores; a son of the late Jose and Florinda (Adriao) Sebastiao, Jr., he resided in Fall River for the past 38 years and was a member of Santo Christo Church.

Besides his wife of 49 years, he is survived by 2 daughters, Maria Pacheco of Fall River and Connie Moniz of Plainville, MA; 2 sons, Steven Sebastiao of Jacksonville, FL and Jose J. Sebastiao of Milton, FL; 4 brothers, Joao Sebastiao, Manuel Sebastiao, Gilbert Sebastiao and Jaime Sebastiao; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 2064 South Main St. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5 - 8 p.m.
