Joseph L. Brasil

FALL RIVER… Joseph L. Brasil, 87, of Fall River, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at his home.

He was the loving husband of Lucia (Soares) Brasil.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel Brasil and Maria (dos Anjos) Brasil.

Joseph worked for most of his career as a Pick and Place Group Leader, at Raytheon. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching outdoors shows and spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons: Joseph Brasil, Jr., Ruben Soares, John Brasil, and James Brasil; his siblings: Conceicao Silva, Emilia Silva, Gilbert Brasil, Manuel Brasil, and Grace Leal; his grandchildren: Gabrielle Brasil, Graciella Brasil, Avery Soares, and Aiden Soares; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alfonso Brasil.
