Joseph A. Oliveira

Joseph A. Oliveira, 94, of Tiverton, RI, a retired plumber, died Sunday at home. He was the husband of Mary C. (Benevides) Oliveira.

Born in E. Providence, RI, he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria C. (Fontes) Oliveira; he lived in Tiverton for the past 25 years, formerly living in Portsmouth.

Mr. Oliveira was a self-employed plumber for many years, retiring at the age of 90. He was a communicant of St. Theresa Church.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours Wednesday 6 - 9 p.m.
